Make sure that all pieces have arrived and are in good condition.
Re-measure window to confirm prior measurements.
Measure the width of the opening along the very top of the window from left window jamb to the right window jam. Cut the TOP TRACK and line it up and place it along the top header of the window. After you are sure that the placement is correct, remove the protective paper from the insulating adhesive strip. place the TOP TRACK to the predetermined position and insuring that it is exact, push it in place so that it adheres to the top edge. IMPORTANT: Once the insulating adhesive strip is secure, it is very difficult to remove, so be sure that the components are placed exactly where you want them.
Repeat the process for the SHALLOW TRACK
SIDE TRACKS are cut to fit between the SHALLOW and DEEP TRACKS. Measure, cut, and place SIDE TRACKS in place.
Screw all track work in using the predrilled holes.
Insert VINYL INSERTS into SHALLOW TRACK.
Insert both LITES OF GLASS into track-work by lifting the LITES up into the DEEP TRACK and then setting down into the VINYL INSERTS.
To secure the back lite of glass from operating do not use a VINYL INSERT in back track. Once the back lite is in place the VINYL INSERT can be cut down and inserted upside down and used as a back stop.
Caulk is applied to the backside of the track-work corners to seal the track-work together.
To help operability of the window 100% SILICONE LUBRICANT SPRAY across the BOTTOM SHALLOW TRACK.
